Dash is a new and immersive approach to world building. Let’s take a look at the creative process with Dash!

Create a Ground

First, let’s create a simple ground for our scene. You can type “Create a ground” or “Make a terrain” or even just “terrain”, and you’ll see the Terrain option show up as a top suggestion. You can hit Enter to run it, manually click on it, or use the up and down arrows to cycle through all the suggested options.

Adjust its Parameters

Once the terrain is created, a floating bar with the most commonly used properties will appear. Feel free to move the bar around to your liking and click on the menu icon to see the full properties of the terrain tool.

<aside> 💡 When you select your scattered objects, an icon will show up on the dash bar, allowing you to open the scatter parameters at any point. The same applies for materials and post processing!

Open the Content Library

Next, lets open the Content Library. You can either type “Browse”, then hit Enter. Or you can simply click on the Megascans Bridge icon to view the Content Library. The library currently only shows content you've downloaded through the Bridge plugin. However, we will expand it to all assets very soon!
