You can now add Audio files to your boards. This is perfect for voice memos, sound references, or music. And if you add multiple audio files to a FR group, you can enable cycling so it cycles through all the audio files.

Items can now be locked to prevent them from being accidentally moved or transformed, making it easier to keep important layouts intact while working.

The Trim Editor can now export image sequences, making it easier to create frame-by-frame references from videos.

Copy file URLs directly from the right-click menu or hold CTRL while dragging multiple selected items out of FrameRef to quickly use them in other applications.

Playback controls now include shortcuts for jumping 10 frames backward or forward, making frame-by-frame review faster.

A new notification system provides clearer feedback when performing actions throughout FrameRef.
You can now use Shift + Delete to remove an item from both the canvas and the board folder in one action.
Windows users can now keep FrameRef above other applications using the new Always on Top button in the window header.

The binaries for ytdlp which is used for downloading videos from social media platform has now been updated to the latest.
Some videos from YouTube is encoded with a bad codec, for example av1. So in those cases, after the download has finished, they will automatically be re-encoded in order to work in FrameRef, and keep the board smooth.
