FrameRef 1.0.3 is now released, and this update focuses on workflow improvements, tablet and pen usability, new color tools, and overall quality-of-life enhancements across the application. This release also includes a large number of stability fixes, media workflow improvements, and UI refinements to make the overall experience faster, smoother, and more intuitive for daily use.

Downloading & Installing

If you are using Windows, you can use the Check for Updates action in the Help menu to download and install FrameRef 1.0.3. If needed, here is the download link as well: https://frameref.app/download-latest

macOS

For this release, if you are using macOS, you need to first move the FrameRef folder from your Applications folder to your Bin. Then you can download the latest version with this link: https://frameref.app/download-latest-mac and follow the installation instructions.

(We started using the normal macOS drag-and-drop installation workflow.)

New Features

New Context Menus

We have now added a right mouse click context menu to FrameRef. This means that, depending on your selection, you will only see the useful actions when right-clicking.

And two new actions we have added that are present in the context menus are:

Homepage Organization

We have now added the ability to add categories to the Homepage and organize your boards.

You can expand the category list with the icon next to the Boards title, or by dragging from the left side inwards, and there you can create new categories, open and view your categories, and also drag and drop your boards to your categories.

And by right-clicking on a category, you can also edit its name, color, and icon, and also delete it.
